Peter O’Callaghan QC, thank you for your time. You are at the time of this interview, July 2009,
the Victorian Bar’s oldest practising QC, with arguably one of its widest practices. I’d like to
start with your early years. You were born in 1931 in Horsham to an Irish father, who’d left I
believe in 1916, left Ireland?
